Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Thanksgiving In Philadelphia by Will Boone for USD 32,000.00 (€ 26,895.28). This price was achieved in the auction Bid for Better Online: Charity Auction to Benefit the Cantor Fitzgerald Fund for Hurricane Harvey Relief at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Will Boone - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work ICE, which sold at auction in November 2019 for USD 81,250.00 (€ 73,736.27).
