Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of AUD 7,200.00 (€ 4,202.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Will Ashton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Australian kosciusko, which sold at auction in August 2008 for AUD 21,600.00 (€ 12,608.96).
