A top price for Will Ashton
This artwork by Will Ashton achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Melbourne in August 2008. In the Important Australian Art auction, the work Australian kosciusko sold for AUD 21,600.00 (€ 12,608.96) - well above the upper estimate of AUD 12,000.00. This high result makes Australian kosciusko the most expensive artwork by Will Ashton that we have observed at auctions so far.
