The work Australian Paris, Seine, Springtime by Will Ashton was auctioned at Sothebys in Melbourne in November 2009. It achieved a price of AUD 12,000.00 (€ 7,317.33), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Will Ashton; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Australian kosciusko sold at auction in August 2008 with the realized price of AUD 21,600.00 (€ 12,608.96).

Die Arbeit Australian Paris, Seine, Springtime von Will Ashton kam im November 2009 bei Sothebys in Melbourne zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von AUD 12.000,00 (€ 7.317,33) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Will Ashton; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Australian kosciusko im August 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von AUD 21.600,00 (€ 12.608,96).
