Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,277.09) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wilfrid Constant Beauquesne - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Les Dragons Royauy Á Rezonville, which sold at auction in January 2016 for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,583.09).
