Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2000 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES WATERCOLOURS DRAWINGS AND COPIES AFTER OLD MASTERS, which included the work French soldiers on the attack: a scene from the Franco-Prusian war by Wilfrid Constant Beauquesne. The price achieved of NLG 5,265.90 (€ 2,427.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Wilfrid Constant Beauquesne have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2016 the work Les Dragons Royauy Á Rezonville was auctioned for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,583.09).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 5.265,90 (€ 2.427,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Wilfrid Constant Beauquesne konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Januar 2016 die Arbeit Les Dragons Royauy Á Rezonville für GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.583,09) versteigert.
