It achieved a price of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,427.59), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Weng Fen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Beautiful World-Bird Nest in October 2008 with an auction result of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 39,832.54).

Die Arbeit On the Wall – Shenzhen (2) von Weng Fen kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.427,59) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Weng Fen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Beautiful World-Bird Nest im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.250,00 (€ 39.832,54).
