Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Mythos Of Lost Dynasties: Pseudo Chinese Script Series (Two Works) by Wenda Gu was sold in the Property From an Important European Collection auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2010. The price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 13,926.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wenda Gu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Drama Of Two Culture Formats Merge C1-C3 (Three Works) in April 2012 with an auction result of HKD 3,980,000.00 (€ 387,801.04).

Die Arbeit The Mythos Of Lost Dynasties: Pseudo Chinese Script Series (Two Works) von Wenda Gu wurde im Oktober 2010 in der Auktion Property From an Important European Collection bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert.
