The work Mythos Of Lost Dynasties Series by Wenda Gu was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 625,000.00 (€ 58,129.06), 39% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Wenda Gu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Drama Of Two Culture Formats Merge C1-C3 (Three Works) in April 2012 with an auction result of HKD 3,980,000.00 (€ 387,801.04).

Die Arbeit Mythos Of Lost Dynasties Series von Wenda Gu wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 58.129,06) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wenda Gu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Drama Of Two Culture Formats Merge C1-C3 (Three Works) im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.980.000,00 (€ 387.801,04).
