Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2012 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Volcano by Wang Yabin. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,222.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Yabin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Elephant Constellation in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 236,000.00 (€ 27,571.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2012 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Volcano von Wang Yabin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.222,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Yabin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Elephant Constellation im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 236.000,00 (€ 27.571,09).
