Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Flowers Reflect In The Water by Wang Yabin was auctioned at POLY in September 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 94,400.00 (€ 10,388.71), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Yabin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Elephant Constellation, which sold at auction in October 2015 for HKD 236,000.00 (€ 27,571.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Flowers Reflect In The Water von Wang Yabin kam im September 2018 bei POLY zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 94.400,00 (€ 10.388,71) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Yabin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Elephant Constellation beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für HKD 236.000,00 (€ 27.571,09) versteigert wurde.
