Despite a disappointment, a good price for Wang Yabin
In October 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Elephant Constellation by Wang Yabin for HKD 236,000.00 (€ 27,571.09). This price was achieved in the auction Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art at POLY in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 240,000.00 – 360,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Elephant Constellation is the most expensive artwork by Wang Yabin that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Wang Yabin
Im Oktober 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Elephant Constellation von Wang Yabin für HKD 236.000,00 (€ 27.571,09) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 240.000,00 – 360.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Elephant Constellation das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wang Yabin, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
