The work Plum and Bird by Wang Shizi was worth HKD 94,300.00 (€ 8,948.58) to a buyer in October 2013. This price was achieved in the auction Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas at China Guardian in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 18,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Wang Shizi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work FLowers and Bird in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 460,000.00 (€ 43,651.61).

Die Arbeit Plum and Bird von Wang Shizi war einem Käufer im Oktober 2013 HKD 94.300,00 (€ 8.948,58) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 18.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Shizi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit FLowers and Bird im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 460.000,00 (€ 43.651,61).
