This artwork by Wang Shizi achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October last year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Flowers And Birds sold for HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,844.37) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Shizi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work FLowers and Bird in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 460,000.00 (€ 43,651.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wang Shizi erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Flowers And Birds für HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.844,37) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Shizi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit FLowers and Bird im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 460.000,00 (€ 43.651,61).
