This work without title by Wang Keping was sold in the First Open | Hong Kong auction at Christies in Hong Kong in March 2019. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,019.95), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Wang Keping have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Couple - 1999-2012 in July last year with an auction result of EUR 157,440.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Wang Keping wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion First Open | Hong Kong bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.019,95) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Keping auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Couple - 1999-2012 im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 157.440,00.
