Upper estimate price exceeded by 75 %.
The work Petite Fille by Wang Keping was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in March last year. It achieved a price of EUR 26,240.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 75 %. Admittedly, works by Wang Keping have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Couple - 1999-2012 in July last year with an auction result of EUR 157,440.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Petite Fille von Wang Keping wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 26.240,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 75 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Keping auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Couple - 1999-2012 im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 157.440,00.
