Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre - 1983 by Wang Keping was auctioned at Artcurial in December last year. The price achieved of EUR 10,496.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Keping achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Couple - 1999-2012 in July last year with an auction result of EUR 157,440.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre - 1983 von Wang Keping kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.496,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Keping erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Couple - 1999-2012 im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 157.440,00.
