The work Fighting The Flood: Red Flag Canal (Set Of Two) by Wang Jin was worth HKD 275,000.00 (€ 25,576.78) to a buyer in April 2014. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Asian Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Wang Jin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Dream Of China in April 2007 with an auction result of HKD 1,920,000.00 (€ 179,771.60).

Die Arbeit Fighting The Flood: Red Flag Canal (Set Of Two) von Wang Jin war einem Käufer im April 2014 HKD 275.000,00 (€ 25.576,78) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Jin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Dream Of China im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.920.000,00 (€ 179.771,60).
