Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poetry Manuscripts by Wang Duo was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June this year. The price achieved of HKD 3,024,000.00 (€ 353,353.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 2,600,000.00 – 3,600,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Duo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poems in Cursive Script Calligraphy in May 2011 with an auction result of HKD 32,020,000.00 (€ 2,864,337.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Poetry Manuscripts von Wang Duo kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 3.024.000,00 (€ 353.353,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 2.600.000,00 – 3.600.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Duo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poems in Cursive Script Calligraphy im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 32.020.000,00 (€ 2.864.337,79).
