The result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 35,326.33) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Walter Launt Palmer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Winter Forest in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 198,000.00 (€ 147,179.07).
