Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Christies in New York held the auction South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Untitled (Hut in Forest); Untitled (Riverside Temples) by Walter Langhammer. The price achieved of USD 7,560.00 (€ 6,815.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Other works by Walter Langhammer have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2018 the work Untitled (Still Life) was auctioned for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,714.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Hut in Forest); Untitled (Riverside Temples) von Walter Langhammer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 7.560,00 (€ 6.815,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Walter Langhammer konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2018 die Arbeit Untitled (Still Life) für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.714,42) versteigert.
