Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Temple Scene); Untitled (Forrest Path) by Walter Langhammer was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online auction at Christies in New York in March 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,451.25) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Walter Langhammer have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2018 the work Untitled (Still Life) was auctioned for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,714.42).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Temple Scene); Untitled (Forrest Path) von Walter Langhammer wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.451,25) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
