Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,394.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Walter Frederick Osborne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dorothy And Irene Falkiner in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 580,500.00 (€ 738,421.37).
