Eastwood Collection: Important Sporting and Irish Pictures auction, the work Life in Connemara, a Market Day sold for GBP 450,000.00 (€ 527,718.31) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 250,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Walter Frederick Osborne; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Dorothy And Irene Falkiner sold at auction in May 2008 with the realized price of GBP 580,500.00 (€ 738,421.37).
