Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Walter Darby Bannard could be acquired at Christies in New York in June 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Interiors: Fine Art Online auction, the work Early Hour changed hands for USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,212.19) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Walter Darby Bannard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Alby's Burgundy in December 2017 with an auction result of USD 31,250.00 (€ 25,994.01).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Walter Darby Bannard konnte im Juni 2019 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Interiors: Fine Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Early Hour für USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.212,19) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Walter Darby Bannard erzielen.
