Despite a disappointment, a good price for Viviane Sassen
In April last year a collector was able to acquire the work La Lutte #2; Parasomnia from Parasomnia by Viviane Sassen for USD 6,300.00 (€ 5,978.93). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, La Lutte #2; Parasomnia from Parasomnia is the most expensive artwork by Viviane Sassen that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Viviane Sassen
Im April letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit La Lutte #2; Parasomnia from Parasomnia von Viviane Sassen für USD 6.300,00 (€ 5.978,93) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist La Lutte #2; Parasomnia from Parasomnia das teuerste Kunstwerk von Viviane Sassen, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
