Sold at the lower estimate price
In December 2018 Il Ponte held the auction Fotografia, which included the work Lago di Oeshineen 1890 ca. by Vittorio Sella. The result of EUR 350.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 350.00 – 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vittorio Sella achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shkhara ridge, Georgia, c. 1890 in December 2012 with an auction result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,791.90).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2018 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Fotografia durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lago di Oeshineen 1890 ca. von Vittorio Sella zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 350,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 350,00 – 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vittorio Sella erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shkhara ridge, Georgia, c. 1890 im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.791,90).
