Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Gruppo del Brenta 1890 ca. by Vittorio Sella for EUR 500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Fotografia at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 550.00 – 750.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Vittorio Sella have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shkhara ridge, Georgia, c. 1890 in December 2012 with an auction result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,791.90).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Gruppo del Brenta 1890 ca. von Vittorio Sella für EUR 500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fotografia bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 550,00 – 750,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vittorio Sella auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Shkhara ridge, Georgia, c. 1890 im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.791,90).
