Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cimon della Pala della Rosetta 1890 ca. by Vittorio Sella was sold in the Fotografia auction at Il Ponte in July 2020. It changed hands for a price of EUR 600.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 450.00 – 650.00. Admittedly, works by Vittorio Sella have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shkhara ridge, Georgia, c. 1890 in December 2012 with an auction result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,791.90).

Die Arbeit Cimon della Pala della Rosetta 1890 ca. von Vittorio Sella wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Fotografia bei Il Ponte versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 600,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 450,00 – 650,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vittorio Sella auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Shkhara ridge, Georgia, c. 1890 im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.791,90).
