Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 720.00 (€ 1,055.31), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Admittedly, works by Vincent Clare have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Primroses, apple blossom, and a wicker basket, on a mossy bank; and Plums and grapes on a mossy bank in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 5,875.00 (€ 9,312.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Plums, damsons and apples, on a mossy bank von Vincent Clare kam im Januar 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 720,00 (€ 1.055,31) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%.
