Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Fors utan ende" (without end) by Viktor Rosdahl was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2011, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 8,500.00 (€ 935.11). Admittedly, works by Viktor Rosdahl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Lost City Tomb" in November 2019 with an auction result of SEK 50,000.00 (€ 4,737.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Fors utan ende" (without end) von Viktor Rosdahl im November 2011 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 8.500,00 (€ 935,11) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Viktor Rosdahl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Lost City Tomb" im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 50.000,00 (€ 4.737,27).
