Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY ART INCLUDING BELGIAN ART, which included the work Everything Everyone - A Logbook Paper by Viktor IV. It changed hands for a price of NLG 1,997.50 (€ 960.09) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of NLG 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Viktor IV have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work American Totem in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 8,125.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2001 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY ART INCLUDING BELGIAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Everything Everyone - A Logbook Paper von Viktor IV zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von NLG 1.997,50 (€ 960,09) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von NLG 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Viktor IV auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit American Totem im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.125,00.
