This work without title by Viktor IV was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2008. The auction ended at the price of EUR 3,500.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Viktor IV - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work American Totem, which sold at auction in December 2008 for EUR 8,125.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Viktor IV kam im September 2008 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 3.500,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Viktor IV mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit American Totem beobachtet, die im Dezember 2008 für EUR 8.125,00 versteigert wurde.
