Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Everyone by Viktor IV was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2001. The price achieved of NLG 2,350.00 (€ 1,129.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Viktor IV have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work American Totem in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 8,125.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Everyone von Viktor IV kam im Juni 2001 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 2.350,00 (€ 1.129,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Viktor IV auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit American Totem im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.125,00.
