The work La Vaccination by Victor Tardieu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. It achieved a price of HKD 1,220,000.00 (€ 127,091.56), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 74%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Victor Tardieu; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Unknown sold at auction in May 2014 with the realized price of HKD 1,600,000.00 (€ 151,319.65).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 1.220.000,00 (€ 127.091,56) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 74%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Victor Tardieu; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Unknown im Mai 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 1.600.000,00 (€ 151.319,65).
