Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Jonques et cocotiers (Junks and Cocotrees) by Victor Tardieu. The price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,895.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Victor Tardieu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unknown in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,600,000.00 (€ 151,319.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jonques et cocotiers (Junks and Cocotrees) von Victor Tardieu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 28.895,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Victor Tardieu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unknown im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.600.000,00 (€ 151.319,65).
