The work Vietnamienne à l’enfant (Vietnamese Mother and Child) by Victor Tardieu was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. The auction ended at the price of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 115,581.50), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 800,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Other works by Victor Tardieu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2014 the work Unknown was auctioned for HKD 1,600,000.00 (€ 151,319.65).

Die Arbeit Vietnamienne à l’enfant (Vietnamese Mother and Child) von Victor Tardieu wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 115.581,50) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 800.000,00 – 1.000.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Victor Tardieu konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2014 die Arbeit Unknown für HKD 1.600.000,00 (€ 151.319,65) versteigert.
