The work Vietnamienne à l’enfant (Vietnamese Mother and Child) by Victor Tardieu was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. The auction ended at the price of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 115,581.50), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 800,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Other works by Victor Tardieu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2014 the work Unknown was auctioned for HKD 1,600,000.00 (€ 151,319.65).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 115.581,50) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 800.000,00 – 1.000.000,00.
