This artwork by Victor Tardieu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. In the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Mimi Pinson; Self-Portrait of Leon Bonnat, dedicated to Victor Tardieu sold for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 13,002.92) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Tardieu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Unknown in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,600,000.00 (€ 151,319.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Victor Tardieu erzielte im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit Mimi Pinson; Self-Portrait of Leon Bonnat, dedicated to Victor Tardieu für HKD 112.500,00 (€ 13.002,92) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Tardieu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Unknown im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.600.000,00 (€ 151.319,65).
