Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Maternities by Victor Tardieu was sold in the An Important Collection of Vietnamese Paintings Featuring The Philip Ng Collection auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2008. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 350,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 367,500.00 (€ 30,286.65). Admittedly, works by Victor Tardieu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unknown in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,600,000.00 (€ 151,319.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Maternities von Victor Tardieu wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion An Important Collection of Vietnamese Paintings Featuring The Philip Ng Collection bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 350.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 367.500,00 (€ 30.286,65) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Victor Tardieu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unknown im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.600.000,00 (€ 151.319,65).
