The work Visionary Landscape by Victor Hugo was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in March 2019. It achieved a price of EUR 27,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Hugo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Planète (Saturne) in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 434,500.00 (€ 527,153.05).

Die Arbeit Visionary Landscape von Victor Hugo kam im März 2019 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 27.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Hugo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Planète (Saturne) im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 434.500,00 (€ 527.153,05).
