Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nature Morte À L’Éventail Japonais by Victor Vignon was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2014. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 18,328.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Victor Vignon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blick auf Auvers an der Oise, which sold at auction in May 2017 for EUR 51,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nature Morte À L’Éventail Japonais von Victor Vignon kam im Mai 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 18.328,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Victor Vignon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blick auf Auvers an der Oise beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für EUR 51.600,00 versteigert wurde.
