Admittedly, works by Victor Vignon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blick auf Auvers an der Oise in May 2017 with an auction result of EUR 51,600.00.

Die Arbeit Les coteaux d'auvers von Victor Vignon kam im November 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.925,00 (€ 10.478,79) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 49%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Victor Vignon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blick auf Auvers an der Oise im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 51.600,00.
