In October 2019 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work West View, Old Slip, New York: November 11, 1994 by Vera Lutter. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 22,500.00 (€ 26,098.39), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vera Lutter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Brooklyn Bridge, which sold at auction in October 2005 for GBP 48,000.00 (€ 70,785.49).

Im Oktober 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit West View, Old Slip, New York: November 11, 1994 von Vera Lutter zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 26.098,39) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Vera Lutter mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Brooklyn Bridge beobachtet, die im Oktober 2005 für GBP 48.000,00 (€ 70.785,49) versteigert wurde.
