Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ca’del Duca, Venice: July 23 by Vera Lutter was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April last year. The price achieved of USD 6,048.00 (€ 5,739.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vera Lutter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Brooklyn Bridge in October 2005 with an auction result of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 70,785.49).

Die Arbeit Ca’del Duca, Venice: July 23 von Vera Lutter kam im April letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.048,00 (€ 5.739,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vera Lutter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Brooklyn Bridge im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.000,00 (€ 70.785,49).
