In October 2021 Christies held the auction Photographs, which included the work Pepsi Cola, Big Vent and Logo: Summer, 2000 by Vera Lutter. The result of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,193.91) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vera Lutter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Brooklyn Bridge in October 2005 with an auction result of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 70,785.49).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2021 führte Christies die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pepsi Cola, Big Vent and Logo: Summer, 2000 von Vera Lutter zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.193,91) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vera Lutter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Brooklyn Bridge im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.000,00 (€ 70.785,49).
