Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Vera Lutter could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work South View, Old Slip, New York: October 8, 1994 changed hands for EUR 7,500.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Vera Lutter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Brooklyn Bridge in October 2005 with an auction result of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 70,785.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vera Lutter konnte im November 2019 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit South View, Old Slip, New York: October 8, 1994 für EUR 7.500,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vera Lutter auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Brooklyn Bridge im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.000,00 (€ 70.785,49).
