The work Untitled #15 from the Birthday Party by Vee Speers was sold in the PHOTOGRAPHS auction at Phillips in New York in April 2010. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,577.96), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vee Speers - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled #16 from The Birthday Party, which sold at auction in April 2011 for USD 20,000.00 (€ 13,494.37).

Die Arbeit Untitled #15 from the Birthday Party von Vee Speers wurde im April 2010 in der Auktion PHOTOGRAPHS bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.577,96) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Vee Speers mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled #16 from The Birthday Party beobachtet, die im April 2011 für USD 20.000,00 (€ 13.494,37) versteigert wurde.
