However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vasili Ivanovich Surikov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Study Of A Strelets' Wife For The Painting 'The Morning Of The Streltsi'S Execution', which sold at auction in November 2004 for GBP 106,050.00 (€ 152,552.35).
