Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Tartar From Minusinsk by Vasili Ivanovich Surikov for GBP 1,320.00 (€ 1,958.81). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Pictures, Works of Art and Icons at Sothebys in Olympia and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vasili Ivanovich Surikov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Study Of A Strelets' Wife For The Painting 'The Morning Of The Streltsi'S Execution' in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 106,050.00 (€ 152,552.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Tartar From Minusinsk von Vasili Ivanovich Surikov für GBP 1.320,00 (€ 1.958,81) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Russian Pictures, Works of Art and Icons bei Sothebys in Olympia erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vasili Ivanovich Surikov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Study Of A Strelets' Wife For The Painting 'The Morning Of The Streltsi'S Execution' im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 106.050,00 (€ 152.552,35).
