Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2007 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Varujan Boghosian for USD 2,880.00 (€ 2,100.50). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Varujan Boghosian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Night in April 2010 with an auction result of USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,336.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2007 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Varujan Boghosian für USD 2.880,00 (€ 2.100,50) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Varujan Boghosian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Night im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.336,79).
